Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

A separate notice describing how Sinta handles consumer health data that may fall outside a treating provider's clinical record.

Effective September 9, 2026Last updated September 9, 2026
This policy is separate from a provider privacy notice

This policy applies to consumer health data handled by Sinta that is not governed as protected health information under a treating entity's official privacy notice. When Sinta handles protected health information as a Business Associate, the treating entity's notice and Sinta's Health Information and HIPAA Role Notice apply.

Sinta Health, LLC ("Sinta," "we," "us," or "our") provides technology and nonclinical administration for connected wellness services. This policy explains the categories and sources of consumer health data we collect, why we collect it, how it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

1. Consumer health data covered by this policy

Consumer health data is personal information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to a person and reveals or can be used to infer that person's physical or mental health status. Depending on how you use the Services, this may include:

  • Health goals, symptoms, conditions, medical history, medications, allergies, and treatment interests;
  • Height, weight, waist measurements, age, sex, activity, nutrition, sleep, and other wellness information;
  • Laboratory orders, results, biomarker information, health scores, trends, and educational insights;
  • Program category, eligibility and enrollment status, appointments, communications, and service history;
  • Information that can reveal an attempt to obtain or receive health services; and
  • Identifiers and technical information linked to the health or wellness information above.

2. Sources of consumer health data

We may collect consumer health data directly from you; from the wellness business that introduced the program; from Beluga Health, P.A., Junction, their licensed professionals, laboratories, pharmacies, and fulfillment partners; and from service providers that support identity verification, communications, hosting, security, or the operation of the platform. We may also derive limited scores, trends, or summaries from information already available in the Services.

3. Why we collect and use it

We collect and use consumer health data as reasonably necessary to provide the service you request, including to:

  • Route intake information to the appropriate independent clinical entity;
  • Coordinate program status, appointments, laboratory and pharmacy workflows, and nonclinical support;
  • Operate accounts, maintain security, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot the platform;
  • Create AI-assisted educational summaries, scores, and trends. Sinta does not use identifiable patient data to train its AI models, and patient-specific laboratory summaries are reviewed by a licensed clinician before delivery;
  • Respond to requests and comply with legal, security, recordkeeping, and contractual obligations; and
  • Create aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you.

We do not use consumer health data to make medication, diagnosis, treatment, or refill decisions. Sinta's educational outputs are not medical advice.

4. How consumer health data may be shared

We may share the minimum reasonably necessary consumer health data with:

  • Beluga Health, P.A. and its licensed professionals for medication-related clinical services;
  • Junction and its licensed clinicians for wellness laboratory ordering and clinical review;
  • Laboratories, pharmacies, and fulfillment partners involved in the services you request;
  • Your participating wellness business, limited to contact information, general program category, payment or renewal status, and nonclinical wellness tasks or measurements. Medication names, doses, laboratory results, clinical notes, and treatment or refill decisions are not displayed to the clinic through its Sinta portal;
  • Processors that support hosting, security, communications, identity verification, customer service, or other necessary platform functions under contractual restrictions; and
  • Authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the Services, or legal rights.

Sinta Health, LLC has no corporate affiliates that independently collect consumer health data under this policy unless we identify them in an updated policy. We do not sell consumer health data, share it for targeted advertising, use it for third-party advertising, or use geofencing around healthcare facilities to identify or target people seeking health services.

5. Consent and control

Where applicable law requires consent to collect or share consumer health data beyond what is necessary to provide a service you requested, we will request consent separately and describe the categories, purpose, and recipients. We will request separate authorization before any sale of consumer health data; Sinta does not currently sell such data.

You may withdraw consent for future collection or sharing by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal and may prevent us from continuing a requested service.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law and appropriate identity verification, you may ask us to:

  • Confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data;
  • Provide access to the data and, where required, a list of third parties or affiliates that received it;
  • Correct inaccurate consumer health data;
  • Delete consumer health data, including by notifying applicable processors or other recipients where required;
  • Provide a portable copy of eligible data; or
  • Withdraw consent for future collection or sharing.

Email hello@mail.sintatelehealth.com to submit a request. Please state that the request concerns consumer health data and describe the right you wish to exercise. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or an authorized agent's authority. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to the decision with "Consumer Health Data Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any further complaint options available to you.

7. Retention and security

We retain consumer health data only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above and for applicable legal, contractual, security, and recordkeeping obligations. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the data. Deletion from encrypted backups may occur on a delayed cycle, during which backup data is isolated from ordinary use.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when our services, partners, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy with a new last-updated date and obtain consent when required for materially different collection, use, or sharing.

Questions or requests may be sent to hello@mail.sintatelehealth.com or Sinta Health, LLC, 926 Banyan Dr, Delray Beach, FL 33483.
